πŸŽ€ Three Years of Blessings: Celebrating My Daughter Esther Gabrielle

By Leota Vassell Today is a very special day in our family because we are celebrating three beautiful years of life for my daughter, Esther Gabrielle Vassell! πŸŽ‚πŸŽ€πŸ’• Three years ago, God blessed our family with this precious little girl, and today my heart is filled with gratitude. Looking back at the journey from pregnancy to now, I can truly say that God has been faithful. A Precious Gift From God Esther is more than just another year older today. She is a reminder of God’s goodness and the blessing of family. Over these past three years, we have watched her grow, learn, laugh, explore, and develop her own beautiful personality. She has brought so many precious moments and memories into our home. Children teach us to appreciate the simple things—their laughter, their little conversations, their smiles, their hugs, and even the moments that test our patience. 😊 Through it all, I am grateful for the privilege of being her mother. πŸ™πŸ½ GOD IS WORKING IT OUT! πŸ™πŸ½

πŸ™πŸ½ GOD IS WORKING IT OUT! πŸ™πŸ½ Blog Post — September 16, 2026    Leota Vassell There are moments in life when we may not understand what God is doing. We pray, we wait, and sometimes we wonder when things will change. We may not be able to see the answer, but that doesn't mean God isn't working. God is working it out!  πŸ™πŸ½ Even when I cannot see what He is doing behind the scenes, I choose to trust Him. I choose to believe that He is working everything according to His purpose. The Bible reminds us: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” —  Romans 8:28 (KJV) This scripture encourages me because it reminds me that God can take situations that seem difficult, confusing, or impossible and work them together for our good. When You Cannot See the Answer Sometimes we want God to show us the entire picture. We want to know what will happen, when it will happen, and how everything ...

Education

Education: What Is Education? Blog Post — September 16, 2026 Leota Vassell, BSc Social Work What Is Education? UNESCO describes education as a  lifelong process that equips people with knowledge, skills, and values needed to build a better future. Education is an important part of our lives. As a mother of three beautiful daughters, Hannah, Esther, and Rachel, I often think about the kind of future I want for them. My daughters are growing up so quickly, and I am reminded that  education is one of the most important investments we can make in our children’s lives. Education Creates Opportunities In the Caribbean, especially in Jamaica, education has long been viewed as a powerful tool for creating opportunities and building a better future. Education can open doors. It can provide knowledge and understanding while giving individuals the confidence and skills they need to move forward in life. Education is not just about going to school, passing examinations, or receiving cer...

πŸ•Š️ September 11: A Tribute of Remembrance, Hope & Prayer

πŸ•Š️ September 11: A Tribute of Remembrance, Hope & Prayer By Leota Inspirational Thoughts September 11, 2026 September 11 carries deep weight in the hearts of many. It is a day of remembrance—a day when we pause to honor the lives that were lost, the families who were left grieving, and the countless people whose lives were forever changed. Twenty-five years later, the memories of September 11, 2001, remain with us. We remember the innocent lives who never made it home. We remember the families who received devastating news. We remember the first responders who courageously ran toward danger while others were running away. We remember those who suffered injuries, loss, fear, and lasting pain. πŸ•―️ We Remember Some wounds cannot be seen. Some people have carried the pain of that day for 25 years. There are children who grew up without a parent, spouses who lost their loved ones, parents who buried their children, and first responders who continue to live with memories that can neve...

Fun Time With My Girls: The Memories That Matter Most

The best memories aren’t always planned—they’re often found in laughter, hugs, and simple moments together. ❤️ Spending time with my girls,  Esther, Hannah, and Rachel , filled my heart with joy. Life can get busy with work, responsibilities, church, and motherhood, but moments like these remind me to slow down and cherish what matters most. Watching my girls laugh, play, and enjoy one another reminded me how quickly childhood passes. Their smiles, personalities, and excitement are precious gifts I never want to take for granted. The Beauty of Simple Moments We don’t need elaborate plans to create meaningful memories with our children. Sometimes, all it takes is: Playing together Sharing a funny conversation Giving a warm hug Laughing until our sides hurt Taking a picture to remember the day These simple moments may become the memories our children carry with them as they grow. Motherhood Is a Blessing Motherhood can be challenging, but it is also one of life’s greatest blessings. ...

“The Yellow Notebook: My First Vision in 2008”

The Yellow Notebook: My First Vision in 2008 By Leota Vassell Bsc  (Social Work) Why I Write https://youtube.com/shorts/uylJ8_Ov38E?is=wJYf_SckpEIl_kC7 I often ask myself, “Why do I write?” When I look back over my life, I realize that writing has been a part of my journey for many years. Long before I started this blog, before I understood the importance of documenting my thoughts, dreams, prayers, and experiences, there was a little yellow notebook. That notebook takes me back to 2008. At that time, I was younger and still discovering who I was, what I wanted from life, and what God had planned for me. I did not fully understand the significance of writing my thoughts and dreams down. I knew that there were things inside of me that I wanted to see become reality. So I wrote them down. I wrote about my dreams. I wrote about the things I desired. I wrote about the future I hoped for. I wrote what I believed could become possible. Looking back now, I realize that the little yellow n...
